Special thanks for your interest in

NanoInnovation 2019

The 2019 edition of NanoInnovation, Conference and Exhibition is over. The organizers, AIRI and NanoItaly Association, want to express their warm thanks to all participants who made NanoInnovation 2019 a successful event.

The Event has seen the presence of more than 1.200 participants, who accepted the invitation to join us.

The conference symposia have been proposed and organized by 29 co-organizers, whose contribution is warmly acknowledged. They fully understood and interpreted at the best the bottom-up principle, which is traditionally the structuring method of our Event.

We are particularly indebted with all the colleagues participating in the scientific symposia, starting from more than 50 chairpersons who managed at the best the dense programme of NanoInnovation, including:  2 opening sessions2 plenary sessions46 technical thematic symposia3 poster sessions3 prizes, 5 multi-sessions workshops, 3 satellite events, 1 round table and 5 joint events, in particular:

  • Open infrastructures for research: an innovative approach supported by Regione Lazio
  • Electron Microscopy School
  • Open Innovation and Open Science: La situazione italiana
  • Nanomateriali e Nanotecnologie: update training organized in collaboration with Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Roma
  • School on Silicon Micro and Nano Technologies

The contribution of more than 350 speakers who shared with us their knowledge and expertise, filling of interesting contents the scientific program, is gratefully acknowledged.

We warmly thank the 28 exhibitors, the 10 industrial and scientific supporters and the 5 institutional and scientific patronages, whose contribution helped in keeping NanoInnovation an open event with free access for all people interested in nano-bio-technologies.

Our deepest appreciation to Sapienza University of Rome for the kind hospitality, support and contribution; we are particularly grateful to the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering (ICI) for allowing the access to the Renaissance Cloister and to all Congress and Exhibition areas, and to the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering (SBAI) for the support during the preparation of NanoInnovation 2019.

We are also indebted with: The Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE) for organizing the networking event with more than 96 B2B meetings organized;

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA), that supporting the invitation of a delegation from Iran, Israel, Poland, Russia and South Korea.

Fondazione Bracco for supporting “NanoInnovation’s Got Talent” reserved to young researchers on nanotechnology (<35 years old).

Owing to the numerous participations and to the great deal of dedication by speakers, exhibitors, supporters and organizers, NanoInnovation 2019 has been a very active meeting opportunity for entrepreneurs, academics, researchers, managers, students and investors. The overview of the nanotech world offered by this Event will certainly support and encourage the dialogue among the different protagonists contributing to build an integrated community, active and cooperating in the field of micro and nanotechnologies.
